Tell me where you will be staying in Monterey. At the Asilomar
Conference Center
or in town? Most of the boxes around Monterey/Carmel area are pretty
spread out so you would
need some form of transportation whether it is 4 wheels or 2 (bike,
skates, etc.)

Depending on the number of wheels you will have available or whether you
will be walking will determine recommended boxes.

I would say for sure to try for Wharf Cat by Jay Drew if you could only
get one,
and you are staying in or near town.
